What you can do
Every product, already exposed.
Point at a label. Get a verdict.
Aim at a barcode or ingredient panel and FoodSnitch returns one honest score out of 100, a processing grade, and every additive worth knowing about β each one linked to the FDA, EFSA or PubMed source it came from.

See what real shoppers do next.
Every product carries the split: how many people would buy it again, and how many walk away. It is not a lab test β it is the honest read of a community that actually checks labels.

The negatives and positives, itemised.
Sodium, fat, saturated fat, sugar and calories are scored line by line with the exact points added or removed, then laid out in a clean per-100g table. No spin, no marketing claims.

Your scanning history, scored over time.
Total scans, average score and personal best in one place. Watch your average climb as the trolley changes β the fastest feedback loop there is for eating better.

FAQ
What is FoodSnitch?
What is FoodSnitch?+
A food scanner that reads any product label or barcode and tells you plainly what is inside it β additives, dyes, processing level, nutrition and how the community rates it.
How does the scoring work?+
Every product starts at 100. Points come off for flagged additives, ultra-processing markers and poor nutrition density, and go back on for fibre, protein and clean ingredient lists. The maths behind each point is shown on the result.
Do brands pay for better scores?+
Never. FoodSnitch takes no money from food brands and runs no sponsored placements. That is the whole point.
Where do the sources come from?+
Public regulatory and peer-reviewed material β FDA colour additive listings, EFSA opinions and PubMed studies β linked directly on each flagged ingredient.
Does it work offline?+
Scans need a connection to reach the product index, but your full history stays on your profile and is available any time.
